Before choosing belt size PLEASE read the belt sizing guide below. Do NOT just go by your pants size as it can lead to an incorrectly fitted belt.
Buying your first Occidental Leather tool belt? Or maybe you’re just replacing one after years of tough love. Either way, getting the right fit is essential. Whether you are a professional or a DIY weekend warrior, having all of your tools organized and at your fingertips gives you the best chance of getting the job done. It is critical that your belt fit you properly for the most comfort and range of movement.
The best first step in sizing your tool belt is to measure your current tool belt. Simply place it on a flat, even surface and measure it from the end of the buckle to the most commonly used hole.
Once you have your measurement, see the sizing chart and select the belt size that is closest to your measurement. Your belt will have 9 holes in an 8″ range, so your measurement should fall as close to the center of the 8″ range as possible. For instance, if your measurement is 41″, you’re looking at a size large belt that is 48″ long overall. Each measurement has a couple of inches of give in either direction, with 4″ to expand in either direction, so you will have plenty of flexibility over the years you enjoy your Occidental Leather tool belt.
